Local SEO and Google profile for a home inspection business
The map pack is where the buyer who was handed no names ends up, and most inspector profiles are half built. Across 27,687 listings in 51 states, 58.8% list no hours at all, only 31.6% show Saturday hours, and just 28.2% publish an email. Saturday matters more in this trade than in most, because contracts get signed on weekends and the 24 to 48 hour scramble starts right there.
Categories are simple. Home inspector as primary, and building inspector or commercial real estate inspector only if you genuinely do that work. The services list is where the ranking hides. Write out every one: pre-listing inspection, four point, wind mitigation, radon testing, sewer scope, mold sampling, WDO, new construction phase, 11 month warranty. Each entry is a phrase you can be found for, and most profiles list none of them.
Photos are the one thing this trade already does well at 92.1%, though stock roof shots do nothing. Dated photos of real findings do. After two weeks the honest signal is calls and direction requests from the profile going up while nothing else changed.
